I've never ridden a horse.
That's not completely true. I have a very vague memory of being on the back of one in my early early years, feeling in control and completely oblivious to the trained handler guiding me around. But I've never truly ridden, never felt that rush of wind or the connection I imagine most riders feel.
I've also not tried drawing one in a long, long time. To break up the monotony of my usual artistic endeavors I thought I'd break out of my comfort zone and try something newish. I very rarely draw from life anymore (which is probably the most terrible thing an artist can say,) so it felt good to flex a little and get some quick sketches out.
I'm going back to the comfort zone now...
Peace!!
Between this and the Android pic your stuff looks tight when you break out your comfort zone. I don't believe you should go back.
ReplyDeleteI'll always go back and forth..
DeleteDude this is damn good for not being in your comfort zone! It goes to show when you're less comfortable you focus in that much more.
DeleteSequentials are long out of my comfort zone, let the focusing begin.
